The popular Fry’s Food and Drugstore in 615 E. Ogden Avenue is slated to close soon. Fry’s Food & Drug are shutting all its Arizona stores down on Saturday, April 10. The Phoenix-area locations are closing at 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 11 for a week. You will not be able to find any inventory on the stores, as they are remodeling.

This coming weekend is typically a busy time – at the food store in Phoenix, as people look for deals and the best deals on both food and other items. According to Scottsdale Police, one of the deceased victims was the manager of the fry’s food and drug store. He died of a self-inflicted knife wound. He has been identified as 42-year-old Anthony Cota. Family and friends are being notified and have been provided with a designated representative to handle all inquiries. Police are asking anyone who may have seen the deceased or who may know of his location to contact police immediately.

A representative from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office has confirmed – that three other employees were also inside the food store in Phoenix when the deadly tragedy happened. There are no suspects in the case at this time, and authorities are working hard to figure out what took place. Two of those killed were identified as a married couple, while the third victim is believed to be a customer. Police are still working to identify the fourth person.

The food and drug store Phoenix is closed until further notice – An employee will remain in charge of the area while an investigation takes place. Detectives and forensics experts are currently processing evidence. Detectives are also speaking with the Arizona State Police detectives assigned to this case. They are conducting their own investigation to determine what really happened during the deadly encounter.

Police are not releasing the name of the deceased until all evidence is completed – but they have released the name of the employee who was inside the store at the time of the death. This is to ensure the public that the deceased is not being involved in any other crime that may involve drugs or alcohol. Investigators are still looking for the remains of the deceased, as well as anyone else who may be a danger due to the illegal drugs and alcohol that were circulating in the area at the time of his death.
